Grand Prix 2016 !

Grand Prix weekend done!! Another year of speed, noise, fashion & cars ... FUN! It all kicked off last Wednesday night for the launch. I had just come home to Melbourne from a 14 hour travel day from Vanuatu. 45mins to get the some makeup on, do my hair & slip into a gown. A quick turn around but a pretty awesome night!! It was so nice to see the GP team from last year..and I am so proud of my good friend Brit. What an awesome ambassador! See some pics from the night below!

On Saturday I ditched the cars & caught the train to the track! Rachel Griffiths was my wingman... no complaints!! I went along to the track in a very girly, amazing dress by Alex Perry & a Nerida Winter headpiece. It felt very special to be wearing an Alex Perry design! When we arrived at the Longines (@longines) Golden Slipper Day, we were greeted by the 'Fashion At The Races' wall by set up by VOGUE, GQ, Myer and Rosehill Gardens... A wall full of stunning flowers... pretty gorgeous! That's where I posted the picture of Rachel & I (below). A little start struck moment! The day was lined with lovely girls & their handsome partners who were all looking pretty sharp!

Sunday... Day 2 of madness & fun! Lana ( @lanawilkinson) dressed me in a pretty epic black ensemble by White Suede. I loved this outfit & the amazing Linden Cook jewels that matched (@lindencook)! My makeup artist for the day was Jade Kara (@jade__kmakeup). A strong black eye & nude lip did the trick! Josh & I spent the day with the face of the Grand Prix, Brit Davis & her beau Joel Selwood. Not bad company!  

Sunday was a great day. It felt a little more relaxed that usual...it actually felt weird to have no work commitments! When I was the ambassador last year, I spent the days running around like a headless chook from one end of the track to the other doing all my duties!
