Since being on The Block I have a new found appreciation for time! The last few months have been go, go, go! ulta3 have come up with the perfect solution for busy gals - which has been a lifesaver! Their new Day To Play product line is the perfect way to get from a natural look to an evening look in under 5 minutes! Brilliant.
The idea is to fill up your make up bag with a mix of versatile products. Palettes are great for this as you get a few different colours & shades in the one package. They're are far easier to travel with too! Below are some of my go-to products in terms of getting from day time look to evening with no fuss!
During the day I like to keep it simple. I use a good moisturiser & then apply a Natural Pressed Powder & a Long Wear Matte Lip Cream. It's quick, easy and lightweight. The Soft Focus Setting Spray is a great little product for girls on the run. Popping it on in the morning helps to set & maintain the consistency of your powder. This means that a quick lip & eye touch up is all that's required for the night time look.
I make sure to keep the lip cream in my bag at all times as it's packed full of moist which is vital in this cold winter weather & I drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep my skin hydrated.
When it's time to head out out at night it's all about adding some vibrance! I'm a big fan of a bold eye in winter - so ulta3's Mega Volume Mascara is like using a magic wand! Thick, long lashes changes your complete look in 2 seconds. Pair your lashes with a darker/smokey shadow using the "All About Eyes" palette. It includes a mix of matte, satin and metallic shades to create the perfect smokey eye. Don't shy away from adding some colour into your eyeshadows - it can make your whole outfit pop!
Remember it's all about balance! If your going heavy on the eyes, keep your lips nude & natural!
