HELLO AUSTRALIA!!
Who is looking forward to leaving their apartment or house ... their suburb ... their city ... their state!? I am sure there are millions of Australians waiting so patiently & eagerly for these lockdowns to end so they can get out and explore! Travel, meet, see, feel and experience.
Living up in Byron, we've been fortunate enough to not endure the harsh lockdowns like those who live in VIC and other parts of NSW. My thoughts wholeheartedly go out to you all. My family are based in Melbourne and I have missed seeing them so much, I hope it won’t be much longer until we are all back together with our loved ones. Hats off to those who have gracefully nailed these tough months, you deserve to have a holiday and go exploring! You absolutely deserve to lose yourself in the greatest place on this earth - Australia.
While the excitement levels are on the rise (BIG TIME!) to travel, it's not necessarily the big ticket overseas trip I'm personally longing for ... it's the travel inside of our own incredible country! Australia is full to the brim of the most prestigious landmarks. From our soil & sights, to our insanely beautiful coastlines, to the stories and cultures that are held so tightly in the hearts of the locals. It's all just waiting for us :)
When lockdown ends & the borders hopefully re-open, Joshy & I are going to make sure we give Sunny the biggest gift of his life. The gift of seeing Australia in all it's glory. The chance to experience his homeland & cherish it's wholesome history. He's still so little of course, but getting these sights in front of him at the earliest age is a priority of ours. "Sunny! Look around ... this is your Home Sweet Home! Your roots! Your backyard! Your playground!"
Imagine hearing that as a little dude?! How lucky and fortunate we are to live in beautiful Australia and give this gift to our son.
I hope you all come with me on the adventure to explore and befriend our home land. It's magic is something to cherish forever and always! It's time to #SEEAUSTRALIA!
We were lucky enough to be hosted by @Australia to travel with Sunny to the Whitsundays when the travel restrictions were less tight.
