Women Of Style 2019
Last night I had the honour of attending the InStyle & Audi’s Women of Style Awards 2019 … and oh my gosh, it did not disappoint! This event never does!
Imagine being in a room full of hard working, dedicated & inspirational women who are all making positive changes within our day-to-day lives, our society & our world as a whole. Wow right?! As soon as you step into the room, it feels like an electric current races through your body & you can’t help but think, “what more can I do to help & support these insanely passionate, clever, loving women!?!”
It’s important to understand that these women are making huge personal & professional sacrifices to improve the lives of those around them. Talk about selfless? If you scroll down, you’ll be introduced to the names of the winners across all different categories & their stories will touch your heart.
Last night, the guests & hosts were reminded that the event is not just about about what we wear. Style in general is not just what we wear. It’s about so much more than that! It’s about standing tall with grace & confidence. It’s about feeling comfortable, unique, powerful, resilient & it’s about getting up everyday, getting dressed & BEING the change we all want to see in our lives. It’s not about waiting for the change. It’s not about witnessing the change. Your style, the way you hold yourself & what you contribute to this world, is about being the change. We are the future shapers. It doesn’t always matter about the brand names on our clothing tags, it matters about the way we feel inside of our clothes & inside of ourselves.
InStyle praise women for dressing in ways that reflect their true personalities & their triumphs. Year after year they celebrate women from all different industries & introduce them to the world, which is exactly what they deserve… the spotlight!
Thank you to everyone who was a part of making last night so special. It really was an honour to be there & to be surrounded by such a courageous group of women.

The above list of women took my breath away. Their stories & their never ending efforts are brilliant. I feel SO lucky to have been there with them last night to celebrate their special moment, which I am sure will grow into a lifetime of accolades.
