In Byron Bay, InStyle cover star Elyse Knowles is tucked away with her dogs, Isla and Harlow. “Waking up to Isla and Harlow’s sleeping eyes every day is a treat. It makes my heart melt,” says Knowles. “I usually spend a lot of time away from home for work, so I’m honestly having a ball being so close to them all the time! Dogs are incredible creatures. They have a natural way of sensing our mood and cheering us up if they feel we’re down or a little out of sorts. You can always count on them to bring joy, love and companionship.”
