Aussie model Elyse Knowles and her boyfriend of six years Josh Barker, have announced they’re expecting their first child together.
Elyse Knowles has announced via an Instagram post that she’s expecting her first baby with boyfriend Josh Barker.
The Aussie model posted a carousel of three photos taken in the Northern Territory, of Josh and her with a red love heart drawn on her exposed stomach.
“And then there were 3 #babybarker,” Knowles captioned the post with.
In a December 2019 interview with Gritty Pretty, the 27-year-old talked about wanting to start a family before hitting the 30 mark.
“I just keep thinking that my mum had me at 28 and, oh my gosh, I need to get going! I want one or two kids by 30,” she told the publication.
“I just don’t want to wait until too late in my life. I’d rather put family first and then career.”
Josh, who has been Elyse’s boyfriend of six years, hasn’t proposed to her yet, but in the interview she predicted they would most likely have kids before getting married – which is exactly how things have turned out.
“[Josh] very much likes his own rule book and I’m totally okay with that, too. I think we’re on our own journey and we’re happy at the moment,” she said.
Well, we’re incredibly happy for the two!
