MARIE CLAIRE INSIGHTS

To everyone who has gone out to buy a copy of this months Marie Claire - thank you so much! $1 of each sale is going to Australian wildlife charities coping with the aftermath of the bushfire crisis. Proceeds will be divided between Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Hospital in QLD, WIRES (Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service) in NSW, Wildlife Victoria and Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park Fund in SA to assist in the ongoing efforts to help animals affected by the crisis and assist with the rebuilding of animal populations. Your dollar could not be in better hands!

Please take the time to scroll down & have a look at the wonderful people at Currumbin caring for the wounded animals. It was an emotional day as the extend of the damage is gruelling to witness but I feel privileged to have been surrounded by such kind & giving people. It takes a community to come back from what we’re currently enduring in Australia … the number of volunteers at the wildlife hospital (120 currently) is incredible.

I’ve been so excited to watch the many Australian’s stand up and donate their time, belongings & money to the people and animals in need. Let’s keep up the momentum & continue our efforts. We have a long way to go & many hearts to mend.
