Australian bikini model Elyse Knowles made her debut on The Block on Sunday night. 

And being the first ever celebrity contestant, the 24-year-old blonde beauty certainly made her mark when she stepped onto the work site for the first time. 

During Sunday's season premiere, her co-star Wombat, 38, joked that he hoped Elyse was on the show with her brother and not her boyfriend.  As she pulled up in a car with partner of four years, Josh Barker, 28, Wombat and the other teams were trying to figure out who they were.

Asking if they a couple or a brother and sister duo, he joked as she got out of the car: 'I hope that's his sister.'

To camera, Wombat and his teammate Sticks, 31, said how good looking both Josh and Elyse are. 

'How ugly are Josh and Eylse?,' he said with a laugh. 

'They would have to be the ugliest couple ever on The Block,' he said. 

Sticks added: 'They've been given a rough run. They're definitely struggling in the looks department!'
