Becoming an official Myer ambassador was a dream come true for Elyse Knowles.
Since winning The Block, the model’s career has been on an upwards trajectory, named an official ambassador for the department store last weekend to work alongside Jennifer Hawkins, Kris Smith and Josh Gibson.
“Jennifer has been a huge inspiration to me growing up and into this industry and I am thrilled to have the chance to work alongside her with Myer,” she said.
“When I received the phone call that I had been offered the chance to be officially signed as a Myer ambassador, it was a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started.
“I have been modelling with Myer since I was 16 years old, so to now be one of the official ambassadors for them is both amazing and very humbling.”
As part of her new role, Knowles will walk the runway at a series of in-store appearances including Myer Perth City on August 31 and September 1 and she can’t wait to return west.

“Luckily for me, I was last in Perth in June, so not too long ago. I was over to do a little work and also visit some friends at the same time,” she said.
“I love to take walks around the Swan River, we always try to visit Cottesloe beach and, if we have time, I love to head to Rottnest Island for the day also.”
It’s all part of a hectic year for the 25-year-old, who has just purchased a new renovation project with partner Josh Barker.
“We have recently purchased a new property in Melbourne’s Bayside area and are now in the process of organising plans and permits,” she said.
“It’s an exciting but daunting time ... knowing there is a lot of hard work coming up but the finished result is always worth the blood, sweat and tears.”
